Long QT Syndrome is an important electrical cardiac disorder
associated with an increased risk of ventricular arrhythmias and sudden cardiac
death. In this case report, we present the clinical course and management of a
young patient who was admitted with syncope, found to have QT prolongation on
electrocardiography, and subsequently developed documented ventricular
fibrillation during follow-up.
