Vascular grafts are used for hemodialysis vascular access, trauma surgery, aneurysm repair, and are commonly used for cardiovascular bypass. The expected characteristics of the graft in these applications are: the graft should not be thrombosed, should not cause graft hyperplasia, and the graft's mechanical integrity should not be compromised and should meet the surgeon's usage requirements. Grafts used in vascular surgery are of two types: native and artificial; artificial grafts are of two types: Polytetrafluoroethylene and Polyester. Although animal-derived (Xenograft) grafts have been made available, they are not widely preferred today (1). New approaches based on tissue engineering or reprocessed natural tissue continue as clinical studies. In today's technologies, the production of artificial vessels of 4 mm and above is available (2)
